Hi, I’m Robert! If you’re expecting a run-of-the-mill intro, you might be in for a surprise. Over the past 15 years, I’ve had a front-row seat in the rollercoaster world of technology, and it’s been quite the ride!

At RTtP in Palo Alto, I stepped into the role of Project Manager, but it was more than just overseeing timelines and deliverables. I was part of a team that dared to think differently, developing medical equipment concepts with additive manufacturing. These ideas, once just sketches and discussions, found their way to being evaluated by the U.S. Public Health Service.

Co-founding Northland Heavy Industries was a deep dive into the potential of 3D printing in industrial production. It wasn’t about staying within the confines of what’s known, but rather about exploring what could be. From compact tools to large-scale printers for boat manufacturing, every project was a step into uncharted territory.

As CTO of Isle & Strait, the challenge was to blend technology with executive recruitment. It was about finding the right balance between innovation and practicality, ensuring that we didn’t just follow industry trends, but also understood them deeply.

At Leverage, the focus shifted to cybersecurity, a field that’s as dynamic as it is crucial. Here, my role involved delving into the nuances of information security, from governance to cyber forensics, helping the company navigate through complex digital landscapes.

HH was born out of a belief in the power of technology to inspire and educate. It wasn’t just about teaching programming or CAD; it was about sparking curiosity in young minds, about showing them the magic behind the screen.

And then there was ÖH, an initiative aimed at engaging young adults. Here, the goal was to create a space that encouraged creative expression and self-driven projects. It was about providing the tools and guidance to help them realize their potential.

In all these roles, my aim has always been to use technology not just as a tool, but as a catalyst for change and innovation. Whether it’s in cybersecurity, 3D printing, or community projects, I’ve strived to make a tangible difference, both in the industry and in the lives of people it touches.

But the adventure doesn’t stop there. I’m currently exploring the exciting realm of AI, particularly its application in technical infrastructure. This exploration isn’t just about understanding AI’s capabilities but also about harnessing its potential to revolutionize how we approach and manage complex systems.

Moreover, I’m diving deep into the depths of experiential learning and activity-based learning. This isn’t just about imparting knowledge; it’s about creating engaging, immersive experiences that facilitate deeper understanding and skill development. It’s about moving away from traditional education paradigms to more dynamic, interactive, and impactful methods of learning and problem-solving.

So that’s a bit about me – someone who’s been fortunate enough to be a part of the ever-changing tech landscape, constantly learning, exploring, and hopefully, contributing in meaningful ways.

In a word, i hunt dragons, i kill monsters.
